After struggling with a deep depression, in October of 2012, Jamie took his own life. In May of 2013 there was a benefit in Jamie's honour, put on by his family, to promote suicide awareness. I want to remind my readers that depression is real. I also want my readers to be aware that although depression is real, there is help out there. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek help.
