This piece was inspired by an old postcard I found of grapes hanging on a vine at a vineyard. I thought it was a beautiful image, it had a warm feeling to it. It reminded me of summer vacations in the Okanagan Valley - of friends and family driving through the many vineyards. I immediately started investigating photographs of grape vines to find more inspiration, and came up with this.
