The Last Moon Cycle

My last cycle is done. It started three days early, on Good Friday, ending yesterday (Easter Monday). I know y’all would call me crazy 🤪 but I see symbolism there. Unfortunately, it was followed up by a severe migraine at 2:30am this morning that jolted me out of bed. I spent an hour in the shower, head pounding, nauseated; feeling as if I were on my death bed. I made my peace with God. I was able to get to sleep again after that although the headache still hasn’t lifted. Fortunately, the migraine and nausea have. I was able to go to work and yoga.
I rarely wear lipstick anymore, but I do enjoy painting my lips in red. It’s my power colour. My therapist told me years ago that some men are afraid to kiss red lips so I feel empowered everytime I do, knowing I can intimidate men; scaring some away from kissing me, just by changing my lip colour.
I’m finally home. Pretty’s in bed and I can relax. There’ll be new art out tomorrow! ✨

Photo 1: I swear my forehead looks concave and swollen. It was a really bad night, but I still got up and did what I needed to do. ❤️

Photo 2. Aw, thank you. 🥰
